  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are a new patient meeting with UCSF plastic surgery for breast reconstruction consultation
  • You are considering mastectomy (breast removal) for cancer treatment, cancer prevention, or as part of a staged procedure
  • You speak and read English fluently
  • You have not yet decided between lumpectomy (partial breast removal) and mastectomy, or you are exploring mastectomy with reconstruction
