Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have severe cancer pain (rated 8 or higher on a 10-point scale) that hasn't improved despite taking high-dose pain medications
- You are not able to have or don't want other pain-relief procedures
- You can lie flat and tolerate imaging scans (like MRI)
- You have no history of brain cancer, brain metastases, or previous brain radiation or surgery
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or unwilling to use birth control during the study
