Who can take part

  • Your overall health status is very good (WHO score 0–2)
  • The original tumor diagnosis is confirmed by biopsy/pathology, and the spinal spots are confirmed by scans or biopsy
  • Your spinal metastases are limited to 3 straight vertebral levels in a row
  • You have significant back pain (pain score 5 or higher), and your pain medicines are recorded
  • You can get an enhanced MRI of the involved spine within 2 weeks before radiation
  • Your blood and organ tests are within required ranges (blood counts, liver, and kidney) and you can sign consent
