Who can take part

  • You are a woman 18 years or older
  • You have had pelvic pain (in the lower belly or genital area) for at least 3 months, with pain averaging 4 or higher on a 0–10 scale
  • A clinician has found tender spots in your pelvic floor muscles during an internal exam
  • You are willing to avoid starting any new pain treatments during the study
  • You can attend clinic visits in person
  • You have not had pelvic surgery, nerve stimulation implants, or Botox injections for pain in the past 6 months
