Who can take part

  • You have gastric outlet obstruction (a blockage preventing food from leaving your stomach) and your doctor believes you need a gastroenterostomy (a surgical connection between stomach and intestine)
  • You have no prior stomach or intestinal surgery, trauma, implants, or conditions that would prevent this procedure
  • You do not have a pacemaker or defibrillator implanted in your body
  • You can have endoscopy (a camera tube passed through your mouth) and can be treated with this technique
  • You have no active infections requiring antibiotics, unhealed ulcers, or bleeding lesions in your stomach
  • You are willing to attend all follow-up visits for at least 90 days and follow study instructions
