Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (HCC)
  • You are scheduled for or have had TACE treatment (a procedure that delivers cancer-fighting drugs directly to the liver)
  • You do not have significant lung or breathing disease
  • You can lie still in an MRI machine for about 2 hours
  • You do not have a pacemaker, metal implants, or other devices that MRI cannot scan
  • You are not allergic to MRI contrast dye (the liquid used to make images clearer)
