PET imaging tracer safety study in healthy volunteers

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 60 years old and in generally good health
  • Not take prescription drugs, herbal supplements, or most over-the-counter medications for 2–4 weeks before the study
  • Not have had significant radiation exposure (like radiation therapy) in the past year
  • Not have donated blood or lost 400+ ml of blood in the past 8 weeks
  • Not have a history of drug or alcohol abuse in the past 12 months, and no tobacco use in the past 3 months
  • If female and able to become pregnant: use effective birth control for 14 days before and 24 hours after the PET scan
