- You must be 18–75 years old

- Your ulcerative colitis is currently mild to moderate (not severe)
- You have evidence of active inflammation in your colon based on blood/stool tests
- You are either not taking UC medications, or you have been on a stable dose of mesalamine (5-ASA) for at least 8 weeks
- You have not taken antibiotics, probiotics, or other microbiome products within the past 4 weeks
