Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months
- Your ulcerative colitis is active and moderate to severe, confirmed by a colonoscopy
- You have tried at least one standard treatment for UC (like mesalamine, steroids, or biologic drugs) and it did not work well enough or you could not tolerate it
- You are not currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
