Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have a type of stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer called adenocarcinoma, confirmed by biopsy.
- Your cancer is locally advanced (has spread to lymph nodes but not to distant organs) and has not spread to the lining of your abdomen.
- Your cancer is HER2-negative (a specific protein type).
- You have good organ function (heart, liver, kidneys, blood counts) and are well enough for surgery.
