Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 30 years old
  • You need fixed braces (not removable braces) and have a bite problem that requires moving canine teeth backward
  • You have never had orthodontic treatment before
  • Your dentist plans to extract your first premolars (specific back teeth) on both sides of your upper jaw
  • You don't have bone or metabolic diseases like osteoporosis or diabetes
  • You don't smoke and maintain good oral hygiene
