Home-Based Breathing Therapy for Children With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Who can take part

  • Your child is at least 3 years old
  • Your child has been genetically diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy
  • Your child can understand instructions and participate in therapy exercises
  • Your child does not need a breathing machine during the day (nighttime non-invasive masks are okay)
  • Your child has not had major surgery in the past 3 months and none is planned during the study
  • Your child does not have a history of brain or spinal cord injury, or severe cognitive difficulties that would prevent participation
