- Be a healthy adult with no serious medical conditions affecting kidneys, liver, stomach, heart, lungs, brain, or immune system
- Have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 32.44, and weigh at least 50 kg (about 110 lbs)
- Not have had stomach or bowel problems in the past 3 months
- Not have had any major surgery in the past 3 months
- If female and able to have children, agree to use birth control; if male and sexually active, agree to use contraception
