Trunk Control and Exercise Ability in Children With Autism

Who can take part

  • Child is between 4 and 12 years old
  • Child has a confirmed autism diagnosis (ASD) documented by a psychologist or developmental pediatrician
  • Child's autism is classified as Level 1, 2, or 3 severity
  • Child currently receives physiotherapy or developmental rehabilitation services at the hospital
  • Child can attempt a 6-minute walking test (with or without verbal help)
  • Parent or legal guardian provides written permission; child ages 7+ can provide verbal agreement
