Treatment for delayed stroke after brain bleeding

Aneurysmal Subarachnoid HaemorrhageDelayed Ischemic Neurological Deficit

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study helps doctors better diagnose and treat a serious delayed complication called cerebral vasospasm that can happen days after a ruptured brain aneurysm. The goal is to improve recovery in patients recovering in the ICU.

NCT07305922Recruiting
Treating delayed brain damage after a brain bleed

This study tests a treatment for people who have had a brain bleed (subarachnoid hemorrhage) and are at risk for delayed brain damage due to narrowed blood vessels. It looks at whether a special procedure to relax the vessels (spasmolysis) combined with raising blood pressure can prevent long-term harm.

Study of delayed brain injury after aneurysm bleed

This study follows people with a brain bleed from a ruptured aneurysm in real-world hospital settings. It aims to better understand delayed brain damage after the bleed, which could help improve care.

Preventing blood-vessel spasm after aneurysm brain bleeding

This trial studies a spinal fluid (CSF) treatment to help prevent dangerous blood-vessel tightening (vasospasm) after a type of brain bleed caused by an aneurysm. If you qualify, the goal is to reduce complications soon after aneurysm repair.

Early Blood Pressure Treatment After Aneurysm Repair

This study tests whether starting blood pressure treatment soon after surgery or coiling for a brain aneurysm can improve recovery. It is for people who had a bleeding stroke from a ruptured aneurysm and are in the hospital for treatment.
