Radiation-Induced Skin Injury

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with breast cancer, head and neck cancer, or nasopharyngeal carcinoma and are receiving radiation therapy
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You are in good enough overall health to tolerate the study (ECOG score 0–1) and expected to live at least 3 months
  • Your heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys are working well enough for the study
  • You have not taken antibiotics or antifungal medications in the past month
  • If you can have children, you must use effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after your last dose
