Superoxide skin spray to prevent radiation burns in head and neck cancer

Who can take part

  • You have head or neck cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body.
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy after surgery or as your main treatment, possibly with chemotherapy.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are able to take care of yourself (up to being up and about more than half of the day) as rated by your doctor.
  • You have no skin conditions or open wounds in the area that will be treated with radiation.
  • You have not had radiation to the head or neck before.
