Urine Bacteria as a Test for Melanoma Treatment Response

Who can take part

  • You have melanoma and your doctor has recommended systemic therapy (medicines like immunotherapy or targeted drugs)
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have not taken antibiotics (by mouth or injection) within the last 8 weeks
  • You have not taken probiotic or prebiotic supplements within the last 4 weeks
  • You do not currently have other active infections or inflammatory conditions like cellulitis, herpes zoster, or psoriasis
  • You do not have any other active cancer besides melanoma (basal cell carcinoma is okay)
