Who can take part

  • You have inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) that is currently in remission (not actively flaring)
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You can use a stimulation device daily and follow all study procedures
  • You do not have a pacemaker, metal implants, or severe claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces)
  • You are not pregnant and do not have severe heart rhythm problems or recent nerve surgery
