- Age 18–70 years
- Cervical cancer diagnosed at FIGO stage IB3 or IIA2 (locally advanced, not yet spread to distant organs)
- Confirmed squamous cell, adenocarcinoma, or adenosquamous cell type
- No prior chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy for cancer
- Good overall health (able to perform light activities; ECOG score 0–1)
- Lymph nodes in pelvis and abdomen are small (under 1.5 cm on imaging)
