Who can take part

  • You must have pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) confirmed by a heart catheterization test (a tube inserted into the heart to measure blood pressure in the lung vessels)
  • Your PAH must be one of these types: idiopathic (no known cause), inherited from family, caused by drugs/toxins, linked to connective tissue disease, associated with repaired congenital heart disease, or PAH with a heart shunt
  • You must be in World Health Organization Functional Class I or symptomatic Class II–IV (meaning you have at least some symptoms like shortness of breath or fatigue)
  • You must have been on stable PAH treatment for at least 90 days before joining the study
  • You must be of Japanese nationality
  • You cannot have had recent heart surgery (atrial septostomy) within the last 6 months, and certain heart defects must not be present

This trial is for adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) who have been taking sotatercept for at least 6 months and have stable, low-risk disease. The study will check if it's safe to stop one of their other PAH treatments (a prostacyclin or selexipag).
