This trial tests a nerve-ablation device (Neurolyser XR) for people with long-lasting sacroiliac joint pain—pain in the lower back where the spine connects to the pelvis. You may qualify if you've had good results (over 70% pain relief) from a previous similar procedure or injection in the past 6 months and still have moderate pain.

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older and able to attend follow-up visits
  • Sacroiliac joint pain (one or both sides) lasting more than 6 months
  • Previous nerve ablation or nerve block procedure in sacroiliac joint with over 70% pain relief within last 6 months
  • Current average pain of 4 or higher on a 0–10 scale in the past month
  • No pregnancy, breastfeeding, or spine surgery history
  • Able to read, write, and understand Italian to complete study questionnaires
