Who can take part
- You are 18–80 years old
- You have been on stable hemodialysis 3 times per week for at least 3 months
- You have moderate-to-severe itching (score of 50 or higher) that hasn't improved with previous treatments like creams, antihistamines, or other medications
- Your itching is caused by kidney disease, not by allergies, infections, liver problems, or other skin conditions
- You are willing to take a new oral tablet and track your itching symptoms daily for the study period
- You have not taken certain anti-itch or psychiatric medications in the past 1–2 weeks, and you agree not to change treatments during the study
