Learning Movement by Watching Others for Children with Spastic Diplegia

Who can take part

  • Child diagnosed with spastic diplegia and walks with a crouch gait (bent knees and hips)
  • Age between 4 and 7 years old
  • Spasticity (muscle tightness) rated as mild (1 to 1+ on the modified Ashworth scale)
  • Walking ability classified as Level II (can walk but with limitations)
  • Able to understand instructions and follow along with the therapy tasks
  • Height of at least 1 meter (about 3 feet 3 inches) to see the balance system screen
