Who can take part

  • You have at least one tooth that needs a crown lengthening procedure (usually to prepare for a crown or to reduce a gummy smile).
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You do not have poorly controlled diabetes (HbA1c under 7%).
  • You are not a heavy smoker (less than 10 cigarettes per day).
  • You are not pregnant, and you do not have any other serious health condition that is not well managed.
  • The tooth needing treatment can be in either your upper or lower jaw.
