  • You are 60 years old or older
  • You have a planned surgery for your abdomen, bones, spine, chest, pelvis, ear/nose/throat, or blood vessels
  • You are considered frail (score of 4 or higher on a frailty scale)
  • Your surgery is at least 4 weeks away
  • You can understand and agree to the study on your own
  • You are not having heart or brain surgery, and you can see and speak English
