Laparoscopic Splenic Flexure Mobilization

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer (confirmed by a tissue sample).
  • Your surgery must involve moving the splenic flexure (a part of the colon near the spleen).
  • Your surgery is done with a laparoscope (small camera and tools through tiny cuts) and aims to cure the cancer.
  • Your cancer is not advanced (has not spread outside the colon or to other organs).
  • You do not have serious health problems that make laparoscopic surgery unsafe.
