Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) under general anesthesia
- Your health status is classified as ASA I, II, or III
- You can understand the study and agree to take part
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You do not have severe liver, kidney, or heart problems
- You are not a long-term user of strong painkillers (opioids) and do not have chronic pain that requires regular medication
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners that would prevent nerve blocks
- Your BMI is 35 or lower, and you have no allergy to numbing medicines
