Who can take part
- You must be between 19 and 84 years old.
- You are scheduled to have surgery on your liver or pancreas under general anesthesia.
- Your overall health is good or fairly good (ASA class 1, 2, or 3).
- You do not have severe kidney disease before surgery.
- You are not allergic to drugs like Versed (midazolam) or Diprivan (propofol).
