- You are between 18 and 88 years old
- You speak and understand English
- You have had chronic pain for at least 3 months
- You have a smartphone and can send text messages
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have no history of mania, schizophrenia, or other psychotic conditions, and no severe psychiatric hospitalization in the last 3 years
