Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with stomach cancer and are scheduled for a minimally invasive (laparoscopic or robotic) partial or total stomach removal.
  • You are in generally good health (ECOG 0–1 and ASA I–III).
  • You are not allergic to NSAIDs, opioids, or acetaminophen (Tylenol).
  • You are not taking certain medications like opioids, blood thinners, or steroids.
  • You weigh at least 45 kg (about 99 pounds).

This trial compares two pain medicines, MAXIGESIC IV and ketorolac, given before and after breast cancer surgery. It aims to see which one better reduces fluid collections (seromas) and bleeding (hematomas) after surgery. If you are having a mastectomy or breast-conserving surgery with lymph node removal and are not getting immediate reconstruction, you may be eligible.
