Who can take part

  • You work in a residential care home in England as a carer, nurse, or manager, and have at least 6 months of experience.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • For the interview part only: you are a resident who needs foot care, or a family member or friend involved in a resident's care planning, and you can give informed consent and speak English.
  • You are not a resident or family member (for the survey part), or you do not work in a care role (like catering or maintenance).
