Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 85 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with head and neck cancer (confirmed by biopsy).
  • You are scheduled to receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy at the same time.
  • You are able to communicate and fill out questionnaires about your health.
  • You do not have any open wounds or skin problems where the electrical stimulation pads would be placed.
  • You do not have a history of epilepsy, brain tumor, implanted pacemaker, or defibrillator, as electricity may interfere with these conditions.
