Cognitive Load and Task Performance in Rotating Residents

This trial studies whether a new AI teaching tool helps ICU residents learn more effectively during their rotation. You'll use the AI tool on a regular device and complete short check-ins over 2 weeks.

Who can take part

  • You are a resident rotating in the ICU for the first time (no prior formal ICU rotation).
  • Your ICU rotation must last at least 4 weeks in a row.
  • You can complete all study check-ins on Day 3, Day 7, and Day 14.
  • You are comfortable using basic digital tools like computers or tablets.
  • You have not regularly used AI tools for medical decisions in the last 3 months.
