Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are in an ICU and at high risk for developing confusion (delirium) based on a screening score
  • You are awake and alert enough to communicate in Chinese or Taiwanese
  • You have not already developed confusion or delirium since being admitted to the ICU
  • You are expected to stay in the ICU for at least 24 hours
  • You do not have a severe brain injury, serious hearing or vision loss, or severe communication problems that would prevent evaluation
