Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with chronic trigger-point neck pain for more than 6 months.
  • You are between 25 and 45 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 24.9.
  • You have a tender knot in the upper trapezius muscle (top of shoulder) and hand weakness on the same side.
  • You have not had physical therapy or steroid injections for this pain in the past 3 to 6 months.
