This study looks at how DMT (a classic psychedelic) affects the brain using fMRI scans. It is for people who have used psychedelics many times before and want to explore DMT's brain effects in a safe, monitored setting.

Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 65 years old and speak English fluently.
- You need to have used psychedelics at least 20 times in your life, with at least 5 of those times being DMT (any form). You must have smoked, vaped, or inhaled DMT at least once, used DMT within the past 2 years, and not used any psychedelic in the last 3 months.
- You cannot take certain medications, including most antidepressants, mood stabilizers, stimulants, and other drugs that could interact with DMT or affect brain activity.
- You cannot have a current or recent (within 6 months) diagnosis of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other serious mental health condition. Also, no first-degree relative with bipolar or psychotic disorders.
- You must be healthy enough for an MRI (no metal implants or pacemaker) and have no serious heart, liver, kidney, or neurological conditions.
- Women who can become pregnant must use effective birth control, and no one who is pregnant or nursing can participate.
