Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You are scheduled for elective gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) under general anesthesia.
  • You are in good health or have mild health issues (ASA I or II).
  • You do not have allergies to any of the study drugs.
  • You do not have a history of heart rhythm problems or conduction issues.
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney disease.
  • You are not currently taking strong pain medications (opioids) or other painkillers regularly.
