Who can take part

  • You must be 50 years old or older.
  • You have a type of wet macular degeneration (nAMD) that is actively leaking, but you do not have a specific subtype called PCV.
  • The scar tissue in your eye covers less than half of the affected area.
  • Your vision in the study eye must be between 20/40 and 20/320 (on a standard eye chart).
  • You have not had any previous eye treatments for wet macular degeneration, such as injections or laser therapy.
  • You do not have other serious eye conditions like high eye pressure or recent bleeding in the study eye.
