Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You have a deep or very deep cavity in one of your lower back teeth.
  • The cavity reaches the inner part of the tooth or completely through the dentin (the layer under enamel), as seen on an X-ray.
  • Your tooth responds normally to cold or sweet tests, and any pain goes away quickly.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have certain health conditions like diabetes, smoking, or heart disease.
