Comparing two ways to rebuild jawbone for dental implants

Who can take part

  • You must be in good general health with no major medical conditions.
  • You should not smoke more than 25 cigarettes a day.
  • You must have a severe lack of bone in the back of your lower jaw (less than 7 mm tall and less than 5 mm wide).
  • You cannot have had a previous bone graft in that same spot.
  • You should be able to keep your mouth and teeth clean, and have no active gum disease.
