Who can take part

  • You are missing one or more teeth and need a bone graft to rebuild the jawbone.
  • Your bone loss is moderate to severe — the remaining bone ridge is very thin (1 mm to 3 mm wide).
  • The bone next to your missing tooth is healthy (no infection, and no nearby tooth roots or nerves).
  • You are not allergic to metals, do not have poorly controlled diabetes or serious liver/kidney disease, and are not on long-term steroids.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have a history of drug/alcohol abuse.
