Who can take part

  • Your child is between 1 and 18 years old.
  • The kidney stone is 2 cm or smaller (about the size of a pea or a small grape).
  • The stone is in the kidney's main drainage area (pelvis) or one of its branches (calyces).
  • Your child's kidneys work normally, based on blood tests.
  • Your child has not had any surgery for this stone before.
