Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have been diagnosed with cervical cancer (squamous cell, adenocarcinoma, or adenosquamous type).
  • Your cancer is stage IIB, III, or IVA (it has spread locally but not to distant organs).
  • You have not had any previous surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy for cervical cancer.
  • You are able to have carbon ion radiation and are willing to receive it at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and pay for it.
  • You have not had prior immunotherapy (like anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 drugs).
  • You do not have active infections, serious health problems, or autoimmune diseases requiring treatment.
