Who can take part

  • You must be under 18 years old.
  • You are about to have your first surgery for a suspected brain tumor.
  • You need a preoperative brain MRI with specific scan types (T1, contrast T1, T2, FLAIR).
  • After surgery, the tumor type must match one of these: glioma, medulloblastoma, ependymoma, AT/RT, germ cell tumor, craniopharyngioma, or choroid plexus tumor.
  • You must not have had any prior brain tumor treatment (surgery, radiation, chemo) before this MRI.
