Fitbit for heart health in rural women

Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You get less than 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week (like brisk walking).
  • You have at least 3 of these: waist over 35 inches, blood pressure at least 130/85, fasting blood sugar at least 100, triglycerides at least 150, or HDL (good) cholesterol under 50.
  • You have a smartphone that can install the Fitbit app (iPhone iOS 16.4+ or Android 11.0+).
  • You are not pregnant and do not plan to become pregnant during the study.
  • You receive care at one of the three Larry Combest Community Health & Wellness Center sites.
