Laser vs. Cold Therapy for Lip Frenectomy

Who can take part

  • You need to be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You must be generally healthy (ASA I status – meaning no significant health problems).
  • You should have a condition where the piece of skin connecting your upper lip to your gum needs to be cut (labial frenectomy).
  • You must be able to come to follow-up appointments after the procedure.
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or a smoker.
  • You should not have used steroid medications in the last 6 months or have certain medical conditions.
