Can a heated tobacco product help you stop smoking?

This study tests whether having access to a heated tobacco product (a device that heats tobacco, not burns it) helps current cigarette smokers quit smoking. You'll try four different flavors over a week and then continue using one you like.

Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 65 years old
  • You currently smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day on the days you smoke, and you smoke on 15 or more days out of the last 30
  • You have smoked at least 100 factory-made cigarettes in your lifetime
  • You own a smartphone (iPhone or Android) with internet access
  • You are willing to try four different heated tobacco flavors and use at least one of them after a one-week trial
