Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with grade 1 or 2 endometrial cancer or atypical hyperplasia (a precancerous condition) confirmed by two pathologists.
  • The cancer is limited to the inner lining of the uterus or has only very shallow invasion into the muscle (as seen on MRI or ultrasound).
  • You are 45 years old or younger and wish to preserve your fertility.
  • You have tried at least 3 months of high-dose hormone therapy (medroxyprogesterone or megestrol acetate) and it did not fully eliminate the lesion.
  • Your tumor has low or weak progesterone receptor positivity (25% or less of cells, and staining intensity weak or none).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 24 or higher, and you have no serious liver, kidney, or bleeding problems.
