Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have an active H. pylori infection, confirmed by a positive breath test.
- You have never been treated for H. pylori before.
- You do not have severe liver or kidney disease, active cancer, or active stomach bleeding.
- You have not had surgery on your stomach or esophagus.
- You are not allergic to the study drugs (vonoprazan or amoxicillin).
- You have not taken certain antibiotics, bismuth, or acid-reducing medicines in the past few weeks.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, and are willing to use contraception during the trial.
